In this week´s podcast, our guest is Joan Mandle, Professor emirita in sociology at Colgate University in the United States. She has conducted research on social change and social movements and has been an activist in the U.S. ever since the 60s, where she among other things, protested with Martin Luther King. She and Sigrún talk about her research and her activism, among other things how social movements have responded to the election of Trump; why women around the world have united under the #metoo; and how we can create a society where everyone is valued independent of their social status.
