Our guest this week comes from far away, but Sigrún spoke with Leah Ruppanner, associate professor of Sociology at the University of Melbourne in Astralia. Leah´s work focuses on the family, gender and policy, often in an international context. We have heard about the gendered impact of COVID-19, where women are under more pressure because of the disruption of family life during the pandamic. Leah has looked at this in her research and discusses her main findings on the topic as well as other interesting reasearch she is engaged in.
